nexlinen — Manufacturing

Honest making, from flax to your table

We believe you should know how your tablecloth came to be — the fiber, the hands, and the care behind every fold. Welcome to the nexlinen making process: three words guide everything we do — pure, honest, enduring.

 Natural Materials

Every nexlinen cloth begins as flax — one of the oldest and most honest fibers on earth. Our tablecloths are woven from 100% pure linen, with nothing synthetic added to imitate its character.

Linen breathes: it cools the table in summer, holds warmth in winter, and softens with every wash — no chemicals required, just time and use.

 Designed to Last

Our designs follow one rule: timeless over trendy. A solid, muted palette that sits easily with wood, ceramics, and candlelight — the same 24 shades, year after year, so your table can grow with your home.

Cuts are generous and considered. Seams are finished to hold. Every color is dyed to stay true wash after wash, so the cloth you buy today still looks itself in ten years.

 Waste, Thoughtfully Handled

A good maker wastes as little as possible. Our cutting patterns are planned so that fabric is used wisely, and offcuts are never thrown away without a purpose — they become swatches, samples, and small goods.

Wherever possible, we make to order rather than to stock, so nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to become dead inventory.

The People Behind the Cloth

A machine can weave, but only people can care. Every nexlinen tablecloth passes through skilled hands — weaving, cutting, finishing, and a final inspection before it is folded and packed.

We work with craftspeople who take pride in their trade, in fair conditions, and we treat every cloth as if it were going to our own tables. Because it is.

Under One Roof

From the loom to the folding table, the process stays under our control. This means one standard of quality — for your first order and every reorder after it. When a buyer comes back for more, they get exactly what they had before: the same weave, the same dye, the same care.

Packaging That Feels Like a Gift

The last step matters as much as the first. Your tablecloth arrives wrapped in kraft paper, secured with natural linen rope — no plastic, no filler. Tags and care cards are printed on recycled paper.

We want the unwrapping to feel like receiving a small gift, because it is: a cloth made to see decades of dinners.

Closing

This is how we make, and why we make. Pure materials, honest work, and linen designed to last.
